A couple of years a go, late in the Evening during the Summertime, I was talking to my Kids when One of my Boys popped out with

He said They hadn't told me before, because They were afraid I'd be angry with Them. It seems that They were sneaking into the Back Room at Night around 1:00 a.m. when they couldn't sleep to Sit and Chat.

For Several Nights, always around 1:00 a.m. he said, they would see Two Balls of Energy in the Room.

One was a Glowing White Ball of Energy which circled around the room staying in the Light Areas, while the Other was totally Black, constantly Circling, staying in the Shadows.

After Ten or Fifteen Minutes or so, The Balls of Energy would disappear when They weren't looking. He then asked quite bluntly, "Dad what the Heck are They?"

I told him I didn't really know for I hadn't heard of anything quite like Them before. I explained that the closest thing I've heard like it is the Effects that were discussed on The Discovery Channel, that can be found in the Atmosphere, as a byproduct of Crushing Rock underground. An type of Ionisation Effect.

But we live in Florida on Sandy Soil so I told them I doubted it was that. Not being able to come up with anything else, I left it at that.

Months went by, about Six Months, to be exact.

I happened to be in our Back Room watching TV around 1:00 a.m. in the Morning when I looked up, for Something had attracted my Attention away from the TV.

At the time, Our Tv was in the Middle of the Room, where looking past the TV, I was looking towards the Sliding Door Entranceway into the House. I had long forgotten my Conversations with my Kids about "Floating, circling balls of energy".

That Memory was yanked back into my Mind because,

there It was, about a Four inch Ball of Energy, Sparkling a Dirty White Glow

just about like a Sparkler would. It was Circling Counter-clockwise in a lazy Four Foot Circle about Head high near the Doorway leading into the house, completing the Circle about every Four Seconds. My first thought was "is it a Reflection of Light coming in a Window?" and I paid closer Attention to the Object.

It wasn't a Reflection, the Ball of Energy was it's Own Light Source.

As it neared the Wall and the Glass Doors, a Bigger Circle of Reflected Light glowed on the Wall and Doors. Ideas and Questions were streaking through my Mind. Was it some kind of Cloaking Device? an Entity? an Alien Life Form? Then it, the Memory of what my Kids had said, Months before, where

"the White Ball of Energy was accompanied by a "Black" Ball of Energy",

hit me. I looked about the Room (I was watching TV in the Dark) and there It was, over by my Computer, Circling quickly in the Shadows around my Computer Chair. Absolutely Blacker than the Darkest Black, an unbelievable Contrast against the Shadows. It was making a Complete Circle around the Base of the Chair about once every Second.

Now, looking back on the Incident, I still can't believe what I did next,

knowing what my Curiosity normally is. You see, I practice my Own Form of Meditation, using it to deal with and remove Arthritis pain, for Hours of relief from the Pain and Stress, with only a couple of Minutes Meditation, when really needed.

When I do Meditation and concentrate on Chakaras and Energy Flow, the White Glow was about like what I usually Picture Mentally when Meditating. After watching the Mesmorizing Circling of the Balls of Light (or Not, as the case of the Black One) They had a Calming Feeling on me at the time, that it was a kind of confirmation from "God" that my Meditations were being heard and recognized - But I hadn't Meditated in Months!

This is what, to this day, I can't believe happened next - Because of that Calming Feeling, I went back to Watching TV! Every so often looking up to see if They were still there. I never experienced a sense of Danger, or any Implication of such, from the Balls Of Energy.

After about Fifteen Minutes of Circling, They were Gone.

To this Day when I think about it, I can't believe I didn't get up to Investigate further, by say, trying to touch, or see if They'd respond to my coming closer to Them. At the time I felt sure They were no threat, but was also sure I shouldn't try anything else until I knew more about Them.

Since that Day, I have only seen Glimpses of a Flash of Light or movement of Black in the Shadows, from time to time in different Rooms of the House. For a while, my Kids would tell me that they saw the Glowing Balls of Light from time to time moving in their Closets, and other Sporatic Incidents around the House. It has kind of gotten that it's a matter of Fact that They exist and show up from time to time.

"Still, we wonder, What are They really? and what about the "Black" One?"

Along with all of this, is the Fact that We live within 50 feet of High Power Lines. Could this Fact have something to do with that? But I'm sure that that Fact sure wouldn't explain the "Black" Balls of Energy. Everybody in the House has said they have Witnessed Similar Incidents from time to time - except my Wife (SMILE) who smiles and says" Yea, Right!" when my kids and I talk about the many Curious Things that happen from time to time. Like my seeing and then "Not seeing" a Ghost Cat (soon to be discussed on one of my other pages.)

"The only thing I've found described similar, was when a Pilot of an Airline saw a Light adjacent to his Commercial Air Plane"

when discussed in a Story on the Paranormal on the Discovery Channel. The only Thing that was learned from that Incident according to the Story, was that during the time the Light was next to the Plane, later confirmed by a "Black Box" on the Plane, was that the Ball of Energy must have a Magnetic Field affecting Instrumentation. For during the Entire Time the "Ball of Light" was by the Plane, the Autopilot shifted a Course to a Gradual Turn towards the Object. The AutoPilot being guided by the Magnetic Fields of an Onboard Compass. This was Unknown at the time by the Pilot.

Now, A couple of Years Later, we hardly see any signs of Them anymore, but They still remain unexplained.

My Curiosity still beckons for more Answers, which so far, I haven't been able to find. I hope you enjoyed this Story, but it is a Factual Account, not made up. Just One of many Reasons I quest about the Paranormal - Maybe They're (If it's an "It with a Conciousness") responding to and have noticed my Interest in the Paranormal? Or maybe there's a Simple Explanation? That has Yet to be answered. So far my Curiosity has only been more Confounded by the Truths of these Experiences We've had, than getting Answers.
