Lawmakers and judges ALWAYS seem to have a Problem deciding this one and the concept and answer is SIMPLE!!!!
All these idiots wanting to ban the Pledge of Allegiance try to do so while quoting their Constitutional Rights.
Simple case of which came first - The Chicken or the Egg?
They need to Ask a Lawyer this Question:
"Is an Unsigned Contract Valid?" DUHH!!
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are Legal Contracts with this Countries Citizens.
Any Lawyer Knows a Contract and it's contents are Valid ONLY IF ALL PARTIES SIGN - ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONTRACT.
The Pledge of Allegiance is a VERBAL SIGNING / ACKNOWLEDGMENT by the individual of the Constitution and the bill of rights and the individual's obligations validating the Contracts with the individual's verbal signature IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THOSE RIGHTS!!!!!!
It is an acknowledgment of each individual's obligation to reside as a citizen in good standing - To Support the Government, Obeying all Laws, and Protesting through LEGAL MEANS to change government issues. Not to do so reduces or eliminates those rights.
This is why it MUST BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS!!! Children have to know their obligations as citizens to VALIDATE THE CONTRACTS and KNOW THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO RECEIVE THOSE RIGHTS!!!!!
Its not meant that as a citizen you have no obligations, and just get to suck up benefits.
Citizens have obligations which are acknowledged in the Pledge of Allegiance to receive those rights......
Now that wasn't so hard was it? Remember to ask a Lawyer if an unsigned Contract is Valid if you're that thick minded.
