Sexting - In the News more and more.......
« on: December 26, 2009, 06:24:01 am »
.....   but I think the seriousness is overstated.

Kids in school are appearing more often reported in the news sexting revealing photographs to classmates.

Just today another news report stated a 16 year old girl sexted a nude photograph of herself to a male classmate.

It spread throughout the school and authorities haven't charged anybody yet.

The news report DID say that it violated child pornography laws.

Nudity is the human's natural state and SHOULDN'T BE THOUGHT OF AS  A CRIME IN ANY FORM.

That's why I believe the definition of pornography SHOULD BE the nude graphic depiction of a SEX ACT ONLY -

NOT JUST NUDITY FOR THIS TEACHES PEOPLE TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES WHICH IS WRONG..

The biggest trouble society has is the hangups society gives kids growing up to be ashamed of nudity and their sexuality.

Nudity Itself SHOULD NEVER BE A CRIME IN ANY FORM....For It teaches shame and embarassment of one's own body IN IT'S NATURAL STATE,  - but by adulthood they're SO ASHAMED of their sexuality, they look for ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS SO THEY ARE FORCED INTO SEXUAL BEHAVIOR TO REMOVE ALL GUILT FROM SEXUAL ACTS..."The he made me do it!" attitude.

When fighting against raging hormones while being battered by society's labeling this behavior as deviate, or disgusting many teens turn to cutting, self mutilation both physical AND mental. This is an attempt to create a STRONGER  distraction so as to not address their sexuality.

What Society is doing in fact is promoting this destruction of our Children's self esteem and respect.

Children of the same age naturally explore and test their sexuality.

Sexuality when taught at first will cause snickers, jokes and initial embarassment but then it's dismissed into the catagory of farts, peeing, etc. and is accepted as a fact of life. and no more attention is paid to it. - without any distortion of one's own sense of self perception.

In these cases, it's no more different than walking around a tree in a park and finding two playing doctor or
"You show me yours and I'll show you mine"

The only difference is that with today's technology - MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT THAN THE ONE
INDIVIDUAL WHO WALKED AROUND THE TREE.

You wouldn't think twice about a 4 year old behaving that way why should it be different at any age?

Being of the same age the individuals should be considered to be doing natural experimentation and expression.
and should be disciplined for their lack of discretion. BUT NOT CHARGED WITH A CRIME.

Teach Healthy Sexual Values and how to behave in society.

But DON'T scar their budding sexuality by charging them with a crime.

One interesting thing to note - the one's pressing charges age group were the SAME ones MOONING out a car window in the '50's & '60's
as a result, They made it where filming the backside ISN'T a CRIME.

Older or Younger, expressing their Sexuality, either way it would be laughed off as an adult wink or as an extremely cute young behavior.

In between it shouldn't be a crime either.

Formula for Paradise:
                                        Doing the Right Thing
                     Paradise =  ---------------------------
                                         Ignorance & Greed
Remove the wrong things done out of Ignorance and Greed and Paradise IS Achievable.....
